Postdoctoral Fellow in Computational Systems Biology

2026/06/10

The Computational Biology Group at CIC bioGUNE seeks highly skilled and motivated postdoctoral researchers to work on an exciting project that aims at the development of computational approaches for designing neuronal cell conversion protocols. The selected candidate will develop a computational platform to identify hierarchical combinations of cell fate conversion factors, which will in turn be used to engineer highly specialized neuronal subtypes for cell transplantation therapies in animal models of Alzheimer's disease, stroke, and epilepsy. The selected candidate will be part of a Canadian federal grant project (NFRF) with international collaborators who will conduct experimental validation of the computational predictions to translate neuronal reprogramming into clinical practice. The deadline for submission of applications is August 15th, 2026. Application procedure: Candidates should submit their CV, a cover letter and the name and contact details of, at least, 2 references using the following form and indicating 44641 as reference.
